Newly appointed UK ambassador presents copy of his credentials to Azerbaijani FM

The newly appointed UK ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Bateman presented copy of his credentials to the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, the ministry said.

Presenting copy of his credentials, Bateman expressed his satisfaction with the appointment to Azerbaijan. Bateman said he is ready to make all efforts for the further development of bilateral relations, which have great potential.

Mammadyarov congratulated Bateman on his appointment and wished him success. The meeting also discussed issues of mutual interest.
