Delegation led by Turkey’s National Defense Minister to visit Baku on October 12

The delegation led by Turkey’s National Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz will visit Azerbaijan next week, Turkish sources said.

The delegation will arrive in Baku on October 12. Within the visit Yilmaz will visit the Alley of Honor, the Alley of Martyrs, Turkish Martyrs’ Memorial. Yilmaz will meet with Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev, Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov, Chief of the State Border Service Elchin Guliyev, as well as the heads of the other military organizations. The current situation and broadening opportunities of cooperation between the countries in military and military technical sphere, as well as the participation of Azerbaijan in several great projects implemented in Turkey’s defense sphere.

The heads of Turkey’s National Defense Ministry’s various facilities, as well as Secretary of Defense Industry Murat Bayar, heads of various military companies will accompany Minister Yilmaz in the visit.
