Caucasus Muslims Board comments on WikiLeaks reports about Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh

“Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh is known as an influential religious figure not only in the region, but also in the world, he has been the religious leader of the Caucasus and Azerbaijani Muslims for more than 30 years.

Preparing dispatches basing on absurd statements, views, rumors about a person, whose life, religious, social activity is open for the society, causes only regret,” said the press service of the Caucasus Muslims Board in response concerning the WikiLeaks reports.

“It is doubtful whether the super power, whose foreign policy is established on such faulty presentations, groundless claims and distortions, will have any success in the world.”

WikiLeaks reports that Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh is not supported much by the country’s believers.

“Some say he is the colonel of the State Security Committee. The main cause of Sheikh’s long-lasting activity is his closeness to the government.”

WikiLeaks also published some other reports about Sheikh-ul-Islam.
