Azerbaijan's Interior Minister holds talks in Tashkent

The Delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan headed by Minister Ramil Usubov met with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahodir Matlyubov on Monday , the National informational agency of Uzbekistan reported. They discussed further cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism and human trafficking.Also, they exchanged views on strengthening security and stability.

Interior Minister of Azerbaijan noted that the Uzbek-Azerbaijan cooperation is developing on the principles of mutual interest. The agreements achieved from the heads of two states at meetings serve to further deepen bilateral relations.

During the talks it was emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan is developing in many directions, including in security, an important legal basis of which are the arrangements reached during meetings of two ministers of the states.

The same day Ramil Usubov met with General Prosecutor of Uzbekistan Rashidzhon Kadyrov. During the talks the sides exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation between law enforcement bodies of the two states.
