President of Azerbaijan phones Tajik counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today made a telephone call to Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon. During the conversation, the two presidents praised the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan relations, saying they were developing in different areas. They also stressed there was a good potential for expanding the bilateral relations.

Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Emomali Rahmon exchanged Eid ul-Fitr greetings, and wished each other`s countries peace and prosperity.

The two leaders also exchanged views over regional and international issues.
