Azerbaijani soldier wounded in ceasefire violation by Armenians

An Azerbaijani soldier was wounded as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Armenian armed forces, a military source said.

Lieutenant Akif Abdiyev was wounded as a result of ceasefire violation by the Armenian armed forces in the direction of the Fizuli region. The soldier was hospitalized and his health condition is serious.

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Deputy Spokesman Teymur Abdullayev confirmed the fact.
The Armenian Armed Forces opened fire at the Azerbaijani troops from positions in the nameless heights in the Fizuli region at 20:00-20:15 and 23:45-00:00 on Aug.21, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
