Premier of Commonwealth of Dominica meets Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament

Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit yesterday  visited Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament, chairman of the natural resources, energy and ecology standing committee Valeh Alaskarov welcomed the guest.

Inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two parliaments will certainly yield result, Alaskarov said. At his words, strong political cooperation will promote versatile cooperation between two countries.

Speaking of quick economic development in Azerbaijan, vice-speaker said “the republic is able to ensure economic cooperation with all foreign countries at high level”. He informed on investment opportunities of Azerbaijan.

Number of political parties represented at Parliament is evidence to democracy in the country, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit stated.

Noting presence of high economic development in the republic, the Prime Minister said Azerbaijan`s achievements show right and correct strategy implemented in the country.
The Nagorno Karabakh problem should find its resolution peacefully and in the frame of international laws, Roosevelt Skerrit emphasized.
