Several new laws on conscription to be adopted in autumn session of Azerbaijani parliament

Amendments will be made to several laws on conscription and several new laws will be adopted during the autumn session of the Azerbaijani parliament, APA reports.

The draft amendments to some laws are ready, discussions are being held. Some of the amendments are offered by the special commission set up at the parliament, others by relevant agencies.

The parliament told APA that most of the amendments will be connected with the improvement of the conscription system. Draft deferment for the persons studying at the higher schools will also be discussed.

Draft law on “Military post and military service” will also be discussed during the autumn session.
