
A delegation led by the deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mammadguliyev, and comprising representatives of ministries for economic development, industry and energy, agriculture and State Customs Committee have been visiting Geneva on 25-29 July.
In the frame of visit, the delegation met with the representatives of the European Union, Ecuador, Switzerland, Brazil and China for the membership to the World Trade Organization.
The delegation also had consultations with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and discussed prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Geneva-based International Center for Trade and Sustainable Development.
Mr. Mammadguliyev also held bilateral meetings with the missions of UN member countries accredited in Geneva within the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the international organizations.
