Azerbaijani President orders to speed up socio-economic development of Aghdam district

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on additional measures to speed up the socio-economic development of Agdam district, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.

Upon the order, the 2011 Public budget will allocate six million manat to Aghdam Executive Power for the construction and repair of inter-settlement and intra-settlement roads, the construction of the Guzanly-Khindiristan-Ahmedagali-Afatli road which links 21 villages and six settlements of internally displaced persons, which are home for 46,000 people

The Finance Ministry was instructed to ensure the funding envisaged in the order. The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to implement the tasks arising from this order.
