Azerbaijan Science Development Fund, Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research sign protocol of intent

The Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research have signed
a Protocol of Intent on scientific cooperation.

The protocol was signed by executive director of the Science Development Fund Elchin Babayev and director of executive directorate of the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research Valentin Orlovich.

The Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research has been established in 1991. The goals of the foundation are to support scientific initiatives and international/national collaboration, to provide financing of scientific publications and conferences.

According to the Azerbaijan Science Development Fund, prior to the signing ceremony the sides discussed the current state of cooperative relations between Belarusian and Azerbaijani scientists.

The sides have also stressed the importance for all-round expansion of cooperation between the funds.

According to the protocol, the sides have established a Working Group of representatives of the funds to coordinate the joint activity
