Azerbaijani, Iran discuss bilateral relations

Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade met with chairman of Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani.

Following the one-on-one meeting, the sides met in the presence of their delegations.
Rasizade praised the level of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ones.

The Premier also hailed the activity of an intergovernmental commission.

Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Rasizade thanked Iranian government for backing Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.

Larijani, in turn, praised Iran-Azerbaijan relations, and stressed the importance of developing the existing ties.

He stressed “Iran will always back Azerbaijan on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh”.
