Izmir to host meeting of Local and Regional Authorities` Congress of CoE

A meeting of the Monitoring Committee of Local and Regional Authorities` Congress of the Council of Europe will be held in Izmir, Turkey next Monday.

Chairman of Sumgayit municipality Abulfaz Babayev and representative of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Anar Ibrahimov will attend the event.

The meeting will bring together more than 100 chairmen of municipalities and parliamentary delegations.

During the event, participants will deliver reports and hold a number of meetings. They will also discuss relations among countries` local authorities and mutual cooperation.
