Azerbaijani President congratulates Canadian Governor General on public holiday

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Governor General of Canada David Johnston on the country`s public holiday - Canada Day.

“I`m sure Azerbaijan-Canada intergovernmental ties, our friendly relations, bilateral and multilateral cooperation will continue developing and expanding for the prosperity of our peoples,” the President said in his letter.

President Aliyev extended best regards to David Johnston and wished the people of Canada peace and prosperity.
