Program of Iranian parliament speaker’s visit to Azerbaijan made public

Program of official visit of Iranian parliament’s speaker Ali Larijani to Azerbaijan has been made public. Embassy of Iran in Azerbaijan said that Ali Larijani’s visit will start on June 30.

On July 1, Ali Larijani will visit Heydar Aliyev’s grave in the Alley of Honor and Martyrs’ Alley, hold official meetings. Speaker of the Iranian parliament will meet with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh, speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov and other officials.

Ali Larijani will also familiarize himself with the monuments in Icherisheher describing ancient period of Azerbaijan’s history.

On July 2, Ali Larijani will hold a press conference and visit Ganja. Iranian speaker will visit the mosque named after Shah Abbas, one of the leaders of Azerbaijan Safavids state, grave of great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi.
