Azerbaijani MP to attend UN and CIS PA joint workshop

Azerbaijani Parliamentary Regional Affairs Committee Chairman Arif Rahimzade will attend a discussion over a new version of the bill "On protection of citizens’ reproductive rights" at a joint workshop of the UN and the CIS Parliamentary Assembly, the parliament said on Tuesday.

The workshop, planned for June 22 in St. Petersburg, will also be presided by CIS PA Standing Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights members, representatives of executive authorities, specialists, and UN Population Fund experts.

Rahimzade will speak about Azerbaijani citizens’ reproductive rights changes, including initiatives for raising awareness.
