Azerbaijani deputy prime minister charges international organizations

20 June 2011 [22:40] - TODAY.AZ
“Despite the international organizations have been participating in settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict for 20 years, there is no result. The reason is nonconstructive position of Armenia, its leaders.

The world’s countries and international organizations don’t pay attention to it. Nobody says to the Armenian leadership”, said Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on deals of refugees and internally displaced persons Ali Hasanov in his speech in State Management Academy under the President of Azerbaijan.

The representatives of international humanitarian organizations, as well as some ambassadors of several foreign countries in Azerbaijan attended the event dedicated to June 20 – World Refugee Day.

In his speech, Hasanov said that despite Armenia doesn’t execute UN declarations, nobody reproaches this country: “sometimes it is called the double standard. It is not a double standard, it is a double approach of the world’s countries. What is our guilt – being Muslim? Armenian state and leadership fell ill with dietetic disease. Armenia manages Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, as well as Krasnodar province of Russia. One day they will manage France and California and the world will wake up”.

The deputy prime minister said that Armenian leadership exposed its people to misery, 1.5 mln peoples left this country in recent years.

Hasanov also said that Azerbaijan will settle the problem and Armenia will lose: “Azerbaijan observes all conventions and agreements. Despite Armenia doesn’t observe it, the international organizations don’t pay attention on it. What is the reason? Let them say frankly, why do they love Armenia? We know that they abstain from Armenian Diaspora. The Armenian Diaspora influences the elections in USA, France. Why do they speak us about human rights? Don’t our people have the rights? Today they create new conflicts in order to control the regions and possess the natural resources”.
