Azeri Trade Unions clinch contract with Russian counterparts

The Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation`s divisions (ATUC) have inked contracts and protocols on cooperation with trade unions of Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation.

Deputy Chairman of ATUC Agil Dadashov touched upon the visit chairman of ATUC, MP Sattar Mehbaliyev to Yekaterinburg in March where he signed a cooperation agreement with Sverdlovsk Region Federation of Trade Unions and met with its chairman Andrey Vetluzhskikh.

He stressed the signing was part of the International Labor Organization workshop dedicated to cooperation between the two trade unions in the field of migrant workers' rights protection. During the visit, Mehbaliyev signed a protocol on protection of rights of Azerbaijani citizens in Yekaterinburg Andrey Vetluzhskikh, in his turn, provided information on his experience and expressed his confidence in women`s activity in this field.

He also presented a gift to chairwoman of the Free Trade Union Republican Committee of the Azerbaijan Employees of Culture (FTUAEC) Jamila Sattarova.
