Venice Commission to discuss amendments to Azerbaijan’s law on political parties in October

Venice Commission will discuss the amendments to Azerbaijan’s law on political parties in October, External Relations Officer of Venice Commission Tatyana Mychelova said.

The session of Council of Europe’s Venice Commission, which will be held on June 17-18, doesn’t consider discussing any issues about Azerbaijan.

The government of Azerbaijan appealed to Venice Commission for expressing opinion on the abovementioned law, which is expected to be discussed at the Azerbaijani Parliament’s autumn session.
