Azerbaijani Deputy FM: EU's consent expected to start negotiations on visa facilitation agreement

Its is expected to obtain the consent of the European Union to start negotiations on visa facilitation and readmission-related issues in the second half of 2011, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev told journalists on Wednesday.

"The negotiations on this issue will begin after receiving the approval," Mammadguliyev said.

He said a first meeting of the newly created fourth subcommittee on education and health is expected to be held in Baku in mid-June as a part of the European Union - Azerbaijani Parliament Cooperation Committee.

The next meeting of the Cooperation Committee will be held in Baku in September, he added.
