Baku to host Cooperation Committee meeting between European, Azerbaijani parliaments

Baku will host the next meeting of the European Parliamentary-Azerbaijani Parliamentary Cooperation Committee in June, Speaker Oktay Asadov said at a meeting with the European Parliamentary President Jerzy Buzek.

"The Cooperation Committee has been operating since 2001," he said.

"But we are not satisfied with its work. So, I hope that after Buzek's visit to Baku, this cooperation will have new incentives."

During the visit, Buzek will meet with Azerbaijani Speaker Oktay Asadov, representatives of civil society and opposition parties.
