Azeri ambassador presents credentials to President of Timor-Leste

Azerbaijan's ambassador to Indonesia, with concurrent accreditation to Philippines and Timor Leste has presented his credentials to President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta.

The diplomat delivered Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings and best wishes to Jose Ramos-Horta. President of Timor Leste, in turn, asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Azerbaijani leader.

Jose Ramos-Horta underlined the necessity of cooperation between the two countries. He noted it was necessary to derive benefits from Azerbaijan`s successful foreign and domestic policy, the country`s activity for peace and mutual confidence in the region and world.

President of Timor Leste also highly appreciated the accomplishments gained in Azerbaijan.
