Last month Armenians violate ceasefire for 36 times, 3 servicemen of Azerbaijani Army wounded

Last month Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire for 36 times on Armenia-Azerbaijan state border and Karabakh frontline.

According to the monitoring conducted on the basis of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s official reports, on April, Armenians intensified ceasefire violations in the south front – towards Khojavend, Fuzuli and Jabrayil regions of Azerbaijan.

On April, the most cases of violation of ceasefire were observed in Fuzuli region - 14 times, Terter – 6 times, Gazakh -5 and Aghdam - 4.

Besides, on April, the ceasefire was violated in Khojavend for 3 times, in Jabrayil – 2 times, in Goranboy – 2 times.

3 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army (2 in Khojavend, 1 in Fuzuli) were wounded as a result of violation of ceasefire.

In January-April 2011, the Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire in the frontline for 196 times (24 times in January, 56 in February, 80 in March, 36 in April). In general, 6 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army, 1 civilian (a child), were killed, 4 were wounded. Two civilians hit a mine near front line. One of them was wounded, the other one died.
