
Azerbaijani diplomats attended the annual forum of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), the general consulate of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles said.
A dinner reception devoted to Azerbaijan was held as part of the annual conference of the leading Jewish organization in Washington. In particular, the established traditions of tolerance in Azerbaijani society and the policy of the country's leadership to intensify intercultural dialogue were discussed.
Good relations between Azerbaijani and Jewish peoples, as well as between Azerbaijan and Israel, were stressed. The AJC leaders and activists, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov, employees of the Azerbaijani embassy in Washington and representatives of the community of Mountain Jews (immigrants from Azerbaijan residing in the United States) attended the discussions.
