Azerbaijani FM receives head of Kuwaiti Diplomatic Academy

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov yesterday received the Head of the Kuwaiti Diplomatic Academy Abdulaziz Al-Sharek, the Foreign Ministry said.

Al-Sharek appreciated the establishment and the activity of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. He stressed that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to education.

He conveyed greetings from Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Mohammed Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

Mammadyarov said that the Azerbaijani-Kuwaiti relations are at a high level and investing in education is very important. He stressed the importance of exchanging young diplomats and experts between the parties.

The bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
