Azerbaijan, Lithuania sign memorandum on cooperation in fight against corruption

The Prosecutor Generals of Azerbaijan  and Lithuania  signed a memorandum on cooperation in the fight against corruption in Baku, Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas said.

According to the memorandum, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office Anti-Corruption Department and Lithuanian Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption will cooperate to facilitate such goals.

Kudzmanas said Lithuanian Prosecutor General Darius Valys set out on his Baku visit today, during which he met with Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov.

The Prosecutor Generals’ Offices of Azerbaijan and Lithuania also cooperate under the European Union Twining program.
