
A meeting of Iranian, Azerbaijani and Turkish foreign ministers will be held tomorrow in Orumieh city of Iran, IRNA agency said.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Orumieh, a historical and border city, plays a basic role in transit and export of Iranian goods to Iraq, Turkey and Azerbaijan and due to the same reason the Iranian government has concentrated all its efforts in that direction.
He said that this meeting is the first step taken by the three countries to upgrade commercial transactions, hoping that the session will be fruitful in further enhancing trilateral trade relations and cooperation.
Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that at the meeting Elmar Mammadyarov, Ahmet Davudoglu and Ali Akbar Salehi will exchange their view on economic relations as well as regional problems.
