No incident occurs during OSCE monitoring on Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line

Monitoring held on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces proceeded without incident, Deputy Spokesman of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev said.

The monitoring was held with the participation of the Minsk Group co-chairs, on the Agdam-Barda Highway of Azerbaijan on April 13 under a mandate of the OSCE chairman special envoy, Abdullayev said.

During regular monitoring of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan scheduled for April13, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen and Special Representative of the OSCE chairman will continue to investigate the case of the murder of a nine-year-old Azerbaijani boy by an Armenian sniper, which occurred in the village of Orta Garavend of Agdam region, the ministry reported earlier.

The monitoring was held on the Azerbaijani side by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative field assistants, Antal Herdich William Pryor and Christo Christov.

The monitoring was also conducted on the opposite side, which the international community recognizes as the Azerbaijani territory, by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk, his field assistants Imre Platinus and Marius Puodziunas.
