Elmar Mammadyarov receives newly appointed Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan

Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishenko, press service of the ministry reported.

Mishenko presented his credentials and expressed satisfaction with the appointment of ambassador to Azerbaijan. Touching upon the existence of wide potential for development of cooperation in several spheres between our countries, the ambassador said that he would make efforts in direction of enhancing Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations more.

In turn, Mammadyarov congratulated Ukrainian diplomat on the occasion of appointment, and wished him success. Moreover, different issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
