Azerbaijan, Ukraine to discuss military cooperation

The Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Yezhel has paid a three-day official visit to Azerbaijan on Wednesday, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.

Yezhel will meet with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Defense Minister Safar Abiyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Parliament’s Speaker Ogtay Asadov and Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry’s leadership in Baku.

He also will visit a training center of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and get acquainted with the training base of the Military Academy.

The meetings will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in defense and military-technical spheres.
