"Azerbaijan should provide basis for the cancellation of the visa travel for the citizens of Iran and Turkey"

"Azerbaijan should make necessary studies, provide basis for the cancellation of the visa travel with Iran," Ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan Mahammadbagir Bahrami told journalists.

Noting that Iran has recently cancelled visa travel for Azerbaijanis, ambassador said prior to it Turkey with 75 million population cancelled visa travel for the citizens of Azerbaijan.

"Iran has as much population as Turkey. Of course, Azerbaijani government should make studies, provide basis for the cancellation of the visa travel for 150 million people. I hope Azerbaijan will do that," he said.
