Parliamentary speaker: Azerbaijan is the leader in CIS

Azerbaijan became a leader among CIS countries in terms of economic indicators in 2010, Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov said on Tuesday at the opening of a parliamentary meeting.

"Today, Azerbaijan's economy ranks high. Azerbaijan conducts trade with more than 140 countries, and its volume has reached $28 billion," Asadov said.
