Speaker of the Parliament Ogtay Asadov meets with OSCE Chairman

Speaker of the Parliament Ogtay Asadov met with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis who is on a visit to Baku, the Parliament reported.

Saying that Azerbaijan attached great importance to the cooperation with OSCE’s institutions, the speaker noted that OSCE must make more efforts for the settlement of the conflict. Asadov underlined the unsuccessful activity of OSCE Minsk Group which is mediating for the settlement of the conflict.

Ažubalis said that one of the purposes of his visit to Azerbaijan was to hold discussions with official Baku on the settlement of the existing conflicts.

They also held discussions on the issues which arouse mutual interest.
