Azerbaijan's ambassador to Italy delivered lecture in Rome’s Institute of Oriental Studies

Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic to Italy, Vagif Sadigov, has delivered a lecture, "Azerbaijan at the crossroads of the East and West", at the Institute of Oriental Studies after Carlo Alfonso Nallino in Rome.

Representatives of scientific public and researchers attended the event.

Azerbaijan is of certain interest from the point of view of scientific investigations, head of the Institute, Professor Claudio Lo Jakono stated.

The Ambassador gave detailed information on the history, culture, economy of Azerbaijan, the role it plays in region and on the international relations, the energy and communication projects the country implements and is going to implement.

The diplomat updated the participants on the current state of negotiations to solve the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the stance of Azerbaijan for fair solution of the problem.
