OSCE Chairperson-in-Office: It is impossible to solve Nagorno Karabakh conflict quickly

"Expressions "quickly" and "in a short time" do not correspond to regulation process of Nagorno Karabakh conflict", OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis said it after the meeting with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

He noted that methodic, insistent and permanent attempts are important for present situation: "We can not say that negotiations are not underway. Sochi meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian presidents may be good foothold for making positive decision in future for the regulation of the conflict".

Establishment of mutual confidence atmosphere between the conflicting sides and issues on observation of ceasefire regime were discussed at the meeting with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs: "There is agreement on ceasefire, but there are also sad examples occurred by sniping fire from both sides".

Mechanisms on coordination of OSCE Minsk Group's activity were discussed at the meeting as well.
