Cuban culture minister will visit Azerbaijan

Cuban Culture Minister Abel Prieto  will pay a visit to Azerbaijan  in April. The visit is aimed to participate in the World Intercultural Dialogue Forum, which will be held in Baku on April 7-9, Cuba’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marcelo Caballero Torres told Trend.

Moreover, during the visit, Prieto will meet with his Azerbaijani Counterpart Abulfaz Garayev. The meeting will be aimed at the establishment and further development of the Azerbaijan-Cuba cooperation in the field of culture, he said.

Torres said the two countries are already working in the field of cultural dialogue. Appropriate contacts have been established in this area.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev initiated the holding of the World Intercultural Dialogue Forum. The event will take place with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with the participation of UNESCO and ISESCO.

The Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry sent an invitation to participate in the Forum to the relevant structures of most countries, and most culture ministries have confirmed the participation.
