"Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Croatia in the legal field is expanding"

"Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Croatia in the legal field is expanding", said Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov in a meeting with visiting President of the Croatian Supreme Court Branko Hrvatin.

The Justice Minister underlined friendship and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia were developing.

Mammadov stressed the importance of reciprocal visits for the expansion of relations between the two countries` judicial bodies.

Mr. Hrvatin spoke of judicial system in Croatia. The President of the Croatian Supreme Court said there are ample opportunities for bilateral cooperation. He stressed his visit to Azerbaijan was successful.

Discussions revolved around a wide range of issues, including priorities of cooperation, administrative justice, independence, immunity and responsibility of judges and activity of Judicial Councils.
