First Lady of Azerbaijan met head of UNICEF Baku Office

First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met Tuesday with head of the UNICEF Office in Azerbaijan Mark Hereward.

Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva said joint projects with UNICEF had been successfully completed.

Mehriban Aliyeva hailed the follow-up to joint projects related to breastfeeding and anemia prophylaxis, as well as special care to handicapped children.

The parties also discussed build-up to the international conference on this theme to be held shortly and proposed projects.
