
A presentation of the film titled “Refugee: The Life Story of Anar Usubov” by Turkish producer Cem Oguz was screened in Irvine, city in California, United States. The presentation was sposnsored by Karabakh Foundation of the United States, Turkish Community of Southern California and Consulate General of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles.
The documentary narrates the life story of 8-year-old Azeri boy, who was a witness of the massacre in his hometown Khojaly. The film was shot in Western style and nominated for awards in numerous festivals of documentaries.
Consul General of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov who attended the screening, said the tragedy in Khojaly is one of the reasons why the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be settled urgently.
