Azerbaijani-Greek energy cooperation discussed in Athens

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov discussed energy cooperation between the two countries with Prime Minister of Greece George Papandreou in Athens on Friday, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Mammadyarov discussed the importance of friendship groups of the two parliaments with chairman of the Greek Parliament Philippos Petsalnikos.

During the meeting with Greek counterpart Dimitris Droutsas, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister discussed developing political relations, expanding cooperation within international and regional organizations. The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Greece discussed cooperation in economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
