President Ilham Aliyev offers condolences to Prime Minister of New Zealand

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key.

The letter reads: “The news of heavy human loss and damages as the result of the earthquake was a source of great sorrow to me.

I share your grief, and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of New Zealand, and wish recovery to the wounded and injured” .
