Azerbaijani Parliament adopts bill on amendments to Code of Administrative Violations

The Azerbaijani Parliament adopted a bill on amendments to the Code of Administrative Violations.

According to the amendments and changes to the Code, the transportation of passengers and luggage in a car without "taxi" marks, the taximeter, and other necessary indicators of information, repeated violations of the graphs and charts of intra-city buses, long-distance (inter-district) and international routes, requirement of the fare more than the tariffs and the use of audio device, not directly related to the transport process are considered administrative violations.

Amount of penalty for these offenses is 40-50 manat. The implementation of the Code's articles concerning the violation of the rules for passenger transport shall be monitored by the Transport Ministry.
