Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister meets with UAE President

Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov, who is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which hosts the IDEX-2011 International Defense Exhibition, met with the UAE President Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ministry told Trend.

At the meeting held at the presidential palace, the Sheikh expressed his gratitude for Azerbaijan’s participation at this exhibition for the first time and wished success to Azerbaijan at the exhibition.

Azerbaijani delegation holds talks with various companies participating at the exhibition, as well as discusses the opportunities of output of products in Azerbaijan.

At the exhibition Jamalov got familiarized with the stands of other countries and held meetings with the heads of representative delegations of several countries. Protocols of intent on bilateral cooperation were concluded at the meetings.
