Azerbaijani MP to attend events on Khojaly genocide in Germany

Azerbaijani MP, deputy chairman of Parliament`s committee on legal policy and state building Rovshan Rzayev will take part in events marking the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide in Germany.

The events will be organized by Azerbaijan`s embassy in Germany and Azerbaijani societies functioning in this country.

The Azerbaijani MP will join a ceremony dedicated to memories of victims of the genocide, to be held by the Society for Developing Germany-Azerbaijan relations in Bundestag.

Rzayev will raise awareness of the participants about historical and political roots of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, vandalism of the Armenians against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly. He is also expected to attend scientific conference on Nagorno-Karabakh and Khojaly genocide.
