Zeyno Baran: I see Azerbaijan as my second home

New U.S ambassador to Azerbaijan Mattew Bryza met with media representative on Thursday during which he introduced his Turkish-origin wife Zeyno Baran, too.  

In response to journalists’ questions, Baran said she will be actively involved in his husband’s public activities.  

She said she sees Azerbaijan as her second home.

“Our countries are similar in many ways: language, culture and cuisine. I don’t feel as a stranger here.”

Baran is an expert on international relations at a leading Istanbul university. She has authored two books on policy of Islamic countries.
