Azerbaijani opposition party to hold mass rallies

The Azerbaijani Liberal Party (ALP) intends to hold mass actions, ALP Chairman Evez Temirkhan told Trend.

He noted that the party holds meetings with the party organizations’ leaders and gives the relevant instructions.

"The local organizations’ leaders are tasked to carry out organization work on the mass rallies,” he said.

Temirkhan said the ALP regards holding of a join mass rally of the all opposition parties as expedient. The ALP was founded in 1995. Its ideology is based on the human rights protection and the rule of law.
