Azerbaijan, France discuss transport cooperation

Azerbaijan's Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov has met France`s Secretary of State for Transport Thierry Mariani and his accompanying delegation.

The talks focused on prospects for development of transport-related cooperation between the two countries.

Mammadov briefed Mariani on the ongoing reforms in his country. The Minister said due to President Ilham Aliyev`s successful policy, Azerbaijan had become one of the leader countries in the world for its economic development.

Mammadov also underlined the necessity of development of transport cooperation with France. Mariani, in turn, said his country was interested in expansion of transport cooperation with Azerbaijan.
