Azerbaijani ruling party may preserve old staff of representatives in CEC

"The New Azerbaijan Party is satisfied with the five-year activity of its representatives in the CEC. This will be taken into account when forming the next staff of the CEC," Deputy Chairman of the party Ali Ahmadov told media.

The list will be submitted by the party to the Azerbaijani parliament in the near future, he said. The CEC is formed in accordance with Azerbaijani legislation every 5 years.

6 of 18 CEC members are representatives of the parliamentary majority, 6 - independent representatives, the remaining 6 - members of the parliamentary minority.
