Former Slovenian FM: EU must more actively participate in resolving Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

The EU must participate more actively in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, MEP, former Slovenian Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl said.

"I am confident that this problem should be in the center of European policy. In the European parliament we stand for intensifying the dialogue to resolve this conflict," he told media in Baku.

He said the problem cannot await a settlement forever. It must be solved. Vajgl is taking part this week in a regional workshop organized by the European Commission.
