President Ilham Aliyev offers Independence Day greetings to Sri Lankan counterpart

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa on the country`s national holiday, the Independence Day.

“I hope development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Sri Lanka will open up new opportunities for boosting cooperation”, the President said in the letter.

Aliyev wished Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa robust health, successes in his activities and the friendly people of Sri Lanka peace and prosperity.
